What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are used to replace the volume lost in wrinkles, lines and folds that appear at rest, rather than those that appear during facial expression.

How do they work?

Dermal fillers work by adding volume. The dermal fillers we use at B- rejuvenated are made from a product which naturally occurs in our bodies. When injected into the skin they draw water to the area and as a result add volume and plump the skin.

Are they safe?

Yes. Dermal fillers are safe. There has never been an allergic reaction as the product is not derived from an animal product.

How long do they last?

Typically dermal fillers last 6-9 months, however this varies from person to person as well as taking in to consideration which product is used and what area is being treated.

What areas can be treated?

Dermal fillers can be used to smooth out folds and wrinkles, lip enhancement and shaping facial contours. The most common area is the naso labial folds, from the corner of the nose down to the corner of the mouth, and lip enhancement.

How are they performed?

During a treatment the crystal clear gel is injected in to the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The gel produces volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. When enhancing lips and facial contours, dermal fillers add volume and shape to the treated area.
